Founded in 2017 by Enrolled Agent Barbara Cibella, Black Cat Consulting LLC (Black Cat Tax) is a 100% women-owned and operated firm built on a foundation of elite technical training, sharp attention to detail, and local cost leadership. We hold immense value in masterfully navigating the complexities of federal, state, and local tax laws to consistently deliver your maximum possible return while keeping your filing in strict legal compliance. Led by an Enrolled Agent – the highest credential awarded by the IRS – our team is meticulously trained to ensure we know the numbers, know the rules, and get your return done right the first time.

Barbara Cibella, EA | Owner & Lead Enrolled Agent

Known affectionately by clients and colleagues as the “Tax Goddess,” firm owner Barbara Cibella is a true master of tax law. Barb brings over 26 years of hands-on industry experience to the table, specializing in complex business returns – including partnerships, S-corporations, estates, trusts, and nonprofits – as well as high-stakes IRS letter responses. As an Enrolled Agent (EA), she holds the highest credential awarded by the IRS, granting her unrestricted authority to represent taxpayers at all administrative levels of the federal government. Barb holds degrees in Accounting and Business Management and is a commissioned Notary Public. She personally trains every member of the team. If a file does not meet her high standards for legal compliance and absolute accuracy, it does not leave our office.

Eva Snowden | Tax Professional

Eva is the ultimate “fixer of things,” managing corporate bookkeeping since 2006 and working with taxes since 2013. Eva specializes in individual tax returns and business returns, with an extensive background and understanding of businesses in the construction and salon industry. Year-round, Eva focuses on untangling complex accounts and building clean payroll and accounting infrastructure that keeps small businesses organized and compliant. She is an expert in other business services including LLC creation, W-2 and 1099 filing, IRS Form 941 filing, and sales tax filing.

Maggie Wills, EA, MBA | Enrolled Agent

Maggie brings a sharp business mind, a disciplined military background, and a meticulous eye for detail to every return. Holding a BSBA, an MBA, and the IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) credential—the highest designation awarded by the IRS—she possesses a deep understanding of small business dynamics, excels at preparing individual and self-employed returns, and provides clients with full representation before the IRS. As a natural problem solver and true creative at heart, Maggie highly enjoys the off-season to step behind the scenes and evaluate the firm’s technology, streamline processes, and design advertising.

Alexis Quiggle | Bookkeeping & Payroll Specialist

(Joining September) Alexis joins our permanent team this autumn, bringing fantastic bookkeeping experience and an outstanding academic background. She holds a BSBA in Applied Business and Accounting and was honored with the prestigious Outstanding Accounting Student of the Year award.
